Responses from couples
We've been surprised by the amount of responses recieved from couples. These emails have been fascinating, there is a broad range of reasons for wanting to be invlolved, and this has helped us think about the project more clearly.
Our aim is to respond to these emails individually over the next couple of weeks. This is a period of planning for Nikki, Ian and myself, and part of this planning is preparing a profile for the couple. There are some legal and ethical requirements in the UK for working with human cells (this includes things like the age of the donor) so we need to be clear about these things before we move forward.
